A Moment in Moultrie

Hello from Moultrie! My soul sister went to town to pick up a few things, and I'm all alone with Luna the cat. She just got fixed and had her front paws de-clawed. Normally, Luna can be full of piss and vinegar, but she sure is sweet and loving now that she's on some pain meds. Heck, maybe we need to give her Prozac for pussycats! LOL!!

Anyway, it's nice and quiet here. No television, no radio, no brats (oops, I mean kids), no quarrelling. It's just me, the box fan, and the computer. Ah, paradise!

Don't let my post fool you. I like children, especially my friends' children. Let's see, there's Courtney, Christin, Rebecca, Anna, Julia, Aaron, Connor, Jennifer, Cory, Richard, Matthew ... hmmmm, that's all I can think of right now.

Children are a huge responsibility and a long-term commitment. I don't want children of my own because I don't want that responsibility. I like being able to sleep late. I like being able to go where I want when I want. There are days I don't want to be bothered by ANYONE. You can't do those things when you have kids. It's a 24/7 job.
